Terms of Service — Qareeb+ (قريب+)

By using Qareeb+ you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility and account

• You must be of legal age (18 or older) and provide accurate information. The service is not directed at anyone younger.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and password confidential, and for all activity carried out through it.
• Using a driver account with an unregistered person or vehicle is prohibited and is reported to administration as a violation.

2) The service

Qareeb+ is a ride-hailing and taxi platform in Sudan connecting riders with drivers. It

covers private cars, rickshaws, Hiace vans, a women-only service, towing, parcel delivery,

intercity travel and group commuting. Driving quality is the driver's responsibility; we

make reasonable efforts to verify drivers and their documents without offering an absolute

guarantee. The platform is a technical intermediary and is not itself a carrier.

3) Payments and wallet

• The fare is calculated from distance, time, time of day and the published surge factor.
• Payment is by cash, bank transfer, or the Qareeb+ wallet.
• The platform collects a published commission from the driver on every trip.
• Topping up the wallet requires proof of transfer and is approved by the administration team before the balance is added.
• A driver's bank withdrawal is made from the available wallet balance, after deducting any commission due, and is approved by an administrator.

Refund of balance

• Wallet balance is consideration for real transport services, not a digital good, and it does not expire.
• To have your balance refunded in cash or by transfer, send an explicit request to support inside the app. It is decided within seven working days, and the remainder is refunded after deducting any outstanding amounts (cancellation fees, commission, settlements).
• If your account is closed or suspended, the remaining balance is refunded the same way. It is not forfeited.
• For an incorrect deduction or a top-up that never arrived, contact support within 30 days of the transaction with its receipt; it is corrected after review.

4) Cancellation and no-show

• A cancellation fee may apply after the driver has accepted and arrived, under the policy published in the app.
• If the rider does not show up after the driver arrives, a fee and compensation to the driver may result.
• Repeated driver cancellation after arrival is monitored and acted upon.

5) Prohibited conduct

Impersonation; fraud or manipulation of fares or the wallet; GPS spoofing; abuse or

harassment; using the service for unlawful purposes; attempting to breach the system or

access other people's data. A violation may lead to immediate account suspension.

6) Safety

The platform provides trip sharing, an SOS button and emergency contacts. In a real

emergency, contact the official authorities first.

7) Limitation of liability and insurance

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for

indirect damages arising from another user's conduct, network outages, or third-party

services.

Insurance: the platform is a technical intermediary and does not provide insurance for

riders or vehicles. Insuring the vehicle and its occupants is the responsibility of the

vehicle owner and driver under Sudanese law, and we require captains to hold a valid

licence and vehicle insurance.

8) Suspension and termination

• We may suspend or terminate an account upon breach of these Terms or suspected fraud, notifying you of the reason and allowing an appeal through support.
• You may terminate your account at any time, without reason and without charge: "Profile → Delete my account permanently", or https://qareeb-sd.com/delete-account. What is deleted and what is retained is set out in the Privacy Policy.

9) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Sudan, and disputes are

resolved accordingly before the competent courts of Khartoum.

10) Changes

We may update these Terms; continuing to use the service after publication constitutes

acceptance.
